Employment law is concerned with the relationship of non-union employees and their employers from negotiating the contract of employment through to retirement or dismissal. It includes preparation of employment contracts, human resources policies, employee benefits, discipline and severing the employment relationship.

 

Our team looks after your interests in matters including wrongful dismissal, privacy, pension and benefits, human rights, employment standards and workersā€™ compensation. We represent you in mediation, arbitration, in the courts and before employment tribunals, including the Employment Standards Branch, the Workers Compensation Board, the Employment Insurance Board of Referees, and the Human Rights Tribunal, We negotiate and document employment contracts, help develop employment policies and practices and provide training materials and seminars for management and workers.
